Developmental /Autism/ADHD Assessments

The developmental evaluation systematically explores cognitive, developmental, social, and emotional symptoms to guide understanding of the nature of developmental delays and behavioral concerns. We employ a variety of assessment measures to guide understanding of symptoms that may suggest an autism spectrum disorder, broad intellectual disability, and/or executive functioning deficits and behavioral features that align with ADHD, or a combination of syndromes. We also assess the impact of trauma when relevant.

The evaluation process involves interview (as applicable) and testing with the individual as well as consulting with the caregiver(s) who will also complete questionnaires. An important aspect of these assessments is providing an understanding of strengths and needs of the individual, and making specific recommendations crafted to address the deficits while utilizing strengths as a foundation for growth. A follow-up meeting will be held to discuss the report and results.
